Shady Commentary: Is that a target on DeLa's back?

We all saw the show, right? DeLa enjoyed a bunch of early success:

  • Her terrific set of reads, netting a win;
  • Followed by the fun burlesque number, netting another win;
  • Followed by the hilarious lip-sync, sending her into the winners seat and pushing Morgan McMichaels out the door (well, maybe...)

But were those nipple covers on her back in the burlesque number, or did she just give her enemies a break and paint on some bullseyes herself?

We've been here before with DeLa, to devastating result: she plays the candy princess while scoring big in the first episode and gaining fans. And while she continues to look through her pink-tafeta framed glasses at the world around her, it obstructs her view apparently of the building danger. Last time it was her old nemesis Darienne Lake who sent her packing, this time -- given the structure of RPDR Allstars, and its twisty-turny elimination process -- it could be really anyone, even ChiChi DeVayne, who seems to have a patron saint or 2 in her trash bags. Just one failure from DeLa is all it will take, and the question is: who's the bigger threat - BeBe, the former winner; or Ben, a former Miss Congeniality winner and early sweeper in this season? I know who I'd get out first, if it were me.

But thankfully, it's not me. And I'm a big DeLa fan, so I'm hoping she'll wake up and start playing the game for real. Even Alaska can stumble, after all. No, Allstars isn't your Grandad's Drag Race, this shit calls for strategy.
